First of all, thank you, Finney, for letting me tell of a mother’s trip to see where her son and daughter-in-law yearned to go and live….and how God in His faithfulness directed their pathway to………Jackson Hole, Wyoming!   

Background:

Bufkin had a stroke at age 50…caused by the hole in his heart that we’re all born with that closes as we are born.  His never closed…thus, stroke.   After repair surgery and normalcy Bufkin began to look over his ‘bucket list’  with a new yearn to accomplish.   Jackson Hole was their honeymoon sight and yearly summer trips, thus….after much planning and care they moved in 2022.    

Having never been to see them….2026 is time! 

Here’s my trip log from landing to leaving!  Granddaughter Luci Moore was my  ‘co-pilot’…and the best!!!

 

                  Three words………quiet…….…peaceful………..pure.

 

The Grand Tetons greet you.

 

The rivers and streams are beside you.

The animals are amongst you.

The simple picnics and drives and walks thrill you.

The wildflowers touch you.

 

The sunrise and sunset overwhelm you .

Bottom line……God’s creation is evident in ALL of this.

It’s no wonder that Bufkin and Leigh are happily settled here!!  I’m so happy for them.
