We were excited to travel to Nashville for a friends wedding! I had maybe been twice in my life.

We stopped in Birmingham and read to our daughter’s third grade class. Restoration Academy is a great private Christian school outside Birmingham. Then made a quick stop at Bucees.

We stayed downtown at the Hampton Inn -Hilton and walked to Broadway a few times. It was definitely like Bourbon street or Times Square.

Friday night Randy (our foodie friend) got reservations to Henrietta Red https://www.henriettared.com/ It was sooo good. We went to the post toast at The Hermitage Hotel.

Saturday we got to visit our good friend Bob Clement and his wife Teri and checked out his recording studio https://www.clementhouseproductions.com/at his house. We ate lunch at Spicy boys! It was delicious. Especially the mushroom appetizer and meat pies.

We also walked around 12 South. My favorite store was Draper James.

That night the wedding was at beautiful Covenant Presbyterian Church and reception at The Bell Tower.
