Anywhere out west in August is a perfect time to travel! We enjoyed our time in Jackson Hole, visiting my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. Views from their porch below. My son drove up with a friend from Steamboat to participate in the rodeo and see us.

Our first night there we went to the rodeo. Here are a few pictures.https://jhrodeo.com/

The next day we ate lunch on the square at Persephone https://persephonebakery.com/ then dinner at Teton Thai. https://www.tetonthaivillage.com/ — it was all delicious!

We visited my brother-in-laws new office right off the square in Jackson Hole. Here are some pics.

They live right next to the National Park so we decided to hike Taggart Lake https://www.tetonhikingtrails.com/taggart-lake.htm. It was a beautiful day to hike, but the most exciting thing was that we saw a black bear.

Saturday morning we went to the farmers market! https://www.jacksonholefarmersmarket.org/

That afternoon we fished (I watched) on the Gros Ventre. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gros_Ventre_River

We drove on Solitude Drive at sunset looking for Elk and Moose.

The last night we ate outside at Dornans https://dornans.com/home/at sunset. It’s right on the Snake river, we saw a lot of rafting groups go by.

Below are a few random pictures from our time in Jackson Hole!
