Couples trips are always fun! We did a quick trip to Natchez. We drove the Natchez Trace which was so beautiful and peaceful. With the speed limit being 50 mph, it makes you slow down and enjoy the ride!

We stayed at The Dixon. Some friends of ours own it. It’s an Airbnb downtown on Main Street. It’s really big and spacious with 3 huge bedrooms and a lovely balcony. https://abnb.me/J0BXL4UA7Ab

Dunleith is a unique pre-civil war mansion in Natchez. The restaurant is the original carriage house and stables. It’s called the The Castle at Dunleith because it was built like a castle. https://www.dunleithhistoricinn.com/the-castle-restaurant/
We had a super delicious meal with excellent service. I had the salmon special with beet risotto. The beef carpaccio appetizer was yummy and so was the trio dessert.

Saturday morning we got up and had coffee on the balcony before it got too hot. We walked down to the Mississippi river and back, it’s only about four blocks away.

We had brunch at The Little Easy. https://www.thelittleeasynatchez.com/ There was a small farmers market that we walked around before brunch. Crooked Letter is Tate Taylor’s movie production business. https://www.crookedletterpicturecompany.com/
